Answers

1) Do I need a visa to enter Ecuador?

A visa is not required if you are planning to stay less than 90 days. Citizens from most of the European countries, Canada, and the United States of America don’t need a visa in order to enter Ecuador.

2) Is there any vaccine required to enter Ecuador?

There aren’t any vaccine requirements to enter Ecuador. However, you should be aware that in some specific regions mosquitoes that transmit diseases do exist. There are many easy and inexpensive ways to prevent related risks before or during your visit to Ecuador.

3) Is Ecuador a safe country?

Ecuador is one of the safest countries in the Andean region. However, you should consider some useful tips to avoid having a bad experience.

4) What kind of weather will I find in Ecuador?

Ecuador is located on the Equator (yes, that’s where the name of the country comes from!), so there are not well defined seasons. The country’s weather has a wide range of variety and depends totally on the region that you plan to visit. For example, if you go to the Galapagos Islands you should be prepared for a hot and sunny climate, but if you go to the Andean Region you will experience rains, storms, and colder weather.

5) What should I pack for my visit to Ecuador?

Ecuador is a very diverse country. Here, you will find regions with drastically varying weather patterns, environments, and geography, so it’s a good idea to know in advance what to bring.

6) What kind of activities can I do in Ecuador?

Ecuador has many tourist destinations where you can participate in a variety of activities. You can practice mountain biking, climbing, rafting, or scuba diving, as well as visiting archaeological sites, museums, or theaters.

Ecuador is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, so there are unique places where you will find the most incredible flora and fauna, from tiny hummingbirds to huge humpback whales.

7) What are the main tourist attractions and destinations of Ecuador?

The Galapagos Islands, Chimborazo and Cotopaxi in the Andean region, the Ecuadorian Coast, Guayaquil and the Sunshine Route, the Amazon region, and the colonial churches of Quito and Cuenca are all highlight destinations of this beautiful. There are hundred of places that will leave you in awe.

8) How much money do I need for my trip in Ecuador?

Ecuador is a relatively cheap country compared to other countries in the region. Here, you will find all kinds of high quality services offered for a wide range of prices.

10) Where can I find statistics of tourist activity in Ecuador?
